After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will embark on an exciting journey to explore the Vatican City,
one of the smallest European microstates situated on the Vatican Hill. Our adventure begins at the
stunning Piazza San Bernardo, adorned with the beautiful Moses’ Fountain. From there, we will make
our way to the Vatican Museums and Vatican Galleries where we may encounter lines at the
entrance. However, the wait will be worth it as we will have the opportunity to admire modern
entrance built for the Jubilee 2000, the Galleries of the Chandeliers, of the Tapestries and of the
Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. The highlight of this visit
will be the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, renowned for its awe-inspiring frescoes by Michelangelo.
Next, we will explore the magnificent Basilica of Saint Peter, also known as Saint Peter Basilica. This
stunning structure is one of the four major basilicas of Rome and is the most prominent building
inside the Vatican City. It is built on the ruins of Old Saint Peter Basilica and showcases some of the
most impressive architecture in the world. After indulging in a delicious lunch, we will continue our
journey with a city tour of Rome, visiting all the major Churches in Rome Holy steps(scala Santa)John
the Lateran Cathedral, the basilica of Holy Cross in Jerusalem, and St. Paul’s Church. This will be an
unforgettable experience, and we will be sure to take plenty of photos to cherish the memories. We
will then spend the night in Rome, resting and reflecting on the wonders we have experienced
throughout the day.
